SMTP - Simple Mail Transfer Protocol
SMTP feature enables the organisers to set their own SMTP servers. Most email service providers (gmail, Yahoo etc) often impose strict limits on the number of emails that can be sent out in a given period of time. But by setting up your own SMTP server you can send out mass emails with no restrictions. And also, you will have your own dedicated IP address for private use. Therefore, the emails you send out do not recognize as spam, they will be delivered correctly.
